Part 1. House rules (poster-ready)
OUTLOUD HOUSE RULES
1. Be kind. Everyone is here to have a good time. No abuse, bullying, harassment or discrimination of any kind.
2. Be loud, not aggressive. Sing, laugh and cheer. Violence or threats mean you are out, and may be reported to the police.
3. Challenge 25. If you look under 25 we will ask for ID. No ID, no alcohol. Accepted: passport, UK photocard driving licence or a PASS-accredited card.
4. No under-18s except at Sunday afternoon family sessions (when we run them) and pre-booked private functions, accompanied by an adult, in designated areas, until 20:00.
5. We do not serve people who are drunk. Do not ask us to. Do not buy drinks for someone who is drunk or for anyone under 18.
6. No outside drinks. Alcohol and other drinks must be bought from us.
7. Look after the mics. No throwing, dropping or tapping. Do not climb on the stage or equipment.
8. Respect the queue. Sing your turn, clap everyone, and do not heckle singers.
9. Filming. We film and photograph some nights for our social media. Signs show when. If you do not want to appear, tell any team member or take a no-photo sticker from the bar, and we will not film or post you. If you sing, we will ask you before we post you. Changed your mind later? Use outloudkaraoke.com/contact or email hello@outloudkaraoke.com and we remove it within 48 hours. Ask before you film other people yourself.
10. No drugs, weapons or illegal items. We may search bags at the door and call the police.
11. No smoking or vaping inside. Keep noise down when you leave: our neighbours are asleep.
12. Keep exits and walkways clear. Follow staff instructions in an emergency.
13. Look after your belongings. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
14. Staff decisions are final. We reserve the right to refuse entry or service and to ask anyone to leave.
